Although Homecoming 2020 was canceled due to the restrictions of COVID-19, La Sierra University was still able to celebrate the youngest generations of former students during the inaugural Young Alumni and Families Weekend on February 15 and 16.
Consisting of various family-friendly events, including a Kids’ Dig, the highlight for many was the Young Alumni Reunion held at the Riverside Art Museum on Saturday night. During the reunion, alumna Jaylene Chung was honored with the first Young Alumni Eagle Award for her positive impact upon her community through both professional work and personal outreach.
